COUNCIL OF CLUBS AND ITS AFFILIATES
PURCHASE NEW PORTABLE SOUND EQUIPMENT
FOR THE CLUBHOUSE AND TENNIS CENTER
This unit was specifically chosen for its ease of use. At the February 15 meeting,
Mel Snow instructed the Council in its use.
- To start, plug into a power strip connected to a wall socket.
- The machine has 6 outlets for 2 wired mikes and 4 wireless
- 3 additional 18’ cords which can be coupled together
- Up to 6 mikes can be used at one time
- Turn the power switch on the strip on
- The volume control is on the back, but Mel recommends you do not fool with it.
- Drawer of cabinet will contain extra cords, 9V batteries and the wireless
mikes.
- Wireless mikes have an on/off switch under the handle to indicate battery life.
After use, must turn off the battery to prolong its life.
- System can be used anywhere there is an electrical outlet, including the
tennis courts.
Machine will be kept in the RIC room under lock. Security must be called to release
the machine. Only authorized reps from each club may obtain the equipment.
- Each club will submit a list of authorized individuals to Carol Meiselman who
will provide the information to Security.
- The person who signs for the equipment is responsible for turning off switch
on the wireless mike.
